I spent 10 years leading marketing teams in the outdoor industry — building campaigns, shaping strategy, and figuring out what actually gets people to pay attention and act. It was work I loved, on behalf of missions I believed in.
But along the way, something shifted. I realized I didn't need permission, perfect timing, or all the answers to build something of my own. So I stepped away and started Hero Marketing Co. — right here in Perry County, where my family and I have deep roots.
I'm not just advising business owners — I am one. Beyond Hero Marketing Co., my wife Cloie and I are launching Hero Schoolhouse, an Acton Academy here in Perry County. I know firsthand what it's like to build something from nothing, stretch a budget, wear every hat, and bet on yourself.
